Job Requirement

Designation      : SQL Server DBA
Location           : Bangalore
Experience       : (4-6 yrs) -- Min 3 yrs as SQL Server  DBA plus 1 yr  in Production support environment
Salary              : Best in the industry
Education        : B.E/B.Tech/MCA

Required Skills
--------------------

-  Should be proficient in SQL Server 2000 & 2005
-  Knowledge of DTS / SSIS will be a plus
-  Knowledge of Various Tools like LiteSpeed, Legato, Remedy, Control-M will be a plus
-  Knowledge of Windows Server and third party tools would be a plus

Job Description
----------------------------
- Responsible for maintaining & monitoring SQL Server System and Databases on call support for 24/7
- Responsible for Installations, Upgradation, Patching of SQL Server
- Resolution and Rectification of all Production Issues within SLAs
- Maintain Backup and Recovery Plans for all Databases
- Monitoring Jobs, Error Logs, Server Space, Health of Databases & Servers.
- Responsible for Troubleshooting Operating System with respect to SQL Server
- Implement Rollouts and Changes to Database by following specific Standards and processes.
- Configuration and Maintenance of Standby Servers with Replication, Log Shipping
- Install & Troubleshoot  SQL Clusters.
- Create Disaster Recovery Plans for High end Critical Servers..
